ICE Contact – Why You Should Have One

Having an ICE contact could save your life.

According to the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), if you’re unconscious or unable to communicate during a medical emergency, medical personnel can get vital information from your ICE (In Case of Emergency) contact. Paramedics, nurses and doctors are “Increasingly aware” that many people have ICE numbers saved in their phones and are trained to know how to look for them.  ACEP recommends having at least 2 ICE contacts saved in your phone.
